Introduction to LAC

Main events

We organise an annual competition, the Salon de Printemps, open to artists living and working in Europe. Selection is made by an independent jury on the basis of slides and original works. We were also the initiators of L’art en marche Luxembourg, a touring exhibition including work by non-members from Luxembourg, France and Germany. We also organise a number of internal exhibitions for members only.

Salon de Printemps

The Salon de Printemps 2001 is being organised with the support of the Foires Internationales (http://www.fil.lu) and will run from 8 March - 18 March 2001 at the Trade Fair Halls, Kirchberg. The preview will be held on 8 March at 6.00pm.

L’art en marche

This annual event was initiated by LAC and started as an initiative to decentralise our activities and to promote synergies with other groups or organisations. By its fifth year it had become a touring exhibition starting at the farm Sprénkénger Haff in Sprinkange, Luxembourg and going on to the Centre Culturel Jacques Brel in Thionville and then to the Tufa in Trier.
